There is so much to see and do in Thailand from jungle treks to temple visits, shopping at local markets to visiting local animal sanctuaries. Most of Thailand has a tropical monsoon climate, winter months see temperatures dropping to around an average of 20 degrees, whilst in the height of summer they have an average of 30 degrees. The wettest months in Thailand are from August to September.

There are daily flights to Thailand from numerous airports around the UK and Europe, and flight time from the UK is approximately 11 hours. There several airports around Thailand, so getting to the destination is fairly easy. There are many different transport methods in and around Thailand, including rail, cars, buses, bicycles, Tuk Tuks (local method of transport), boats (in canals and rivers around Thailand), aircraft, all transport is relatively cheap but some are more popular than others.

The island of Koh Chang is Thailand’s second largest island and is located in the Gulf of Thailand. The island is known for being mountainous with numerous rain forests and marvellous waterfalls. The island itself is around 30km long and 14km wide. Fine white sandy beaches line the coast of the island of Koh Chang.
