Circle Earth find another use for waste paper

Circle Earth Managing Director, Rachael Cartmell, has added to the companies recycling efforts by finding a use for the shredded paper which we produce. She has adopted chickens!

Not just any chickens though, these are rescued battery hens, rescued through the efforts of the battery hen welfare trust. A coop has been homemade, using FSC certified wood, and the paper shreddings will be used as bedding for the hens, who are laying fabulous free range eggs. The waste from the chickens will then be added to the compost bin for her organic home grown veggies.
